This is a very reluctant sale and for a genuine reason, my journey to work has now become horrendous due to the new M25 expansion and the Hatfield tunnel works on the A1M so I have decided to get a motorbike and beat the traffic.
We have had the car for 2 years and last year I had some major work done on it through the servicing, it has had a new brake servo, new front bushes new front and rear break discs and pads, new back tyres, new wiring loom, new rear wiper motor and the fuel jets were cleaned out by Audi mechanics. The car runs superb and it’s a real pleasure to drive, being an Audi it is as you would expect very sturdy and give a good sense of safety and because it is the 130BHP model it holds it place at speed even for an estate, it's a real work horse of a car and very reliable. I'm a non smoker so you can be sure there are no cigarette burns or nasty smells, and it has a cable amp fitted which works through the stereo using the cd changer function for an MP3 player ipod which is very cool, also something even better is it has a professionally fitted Ericsson HCB 400 Bluetooth phone kit which also goes through the stereo and cuts in when you use your mobile phone, these cost over £200 fully installed. With regards to economy this car is great easily averaging over 50Mpg I fill up about once every week and a half and I travel over 100 miles a day so it's great if like me you hate regular trips to the garage.
There are a couple of bad points as you would expect, all in all the car is in very good condition but as I have tried to show in the pictures there is a very light scuff over the rear passenger wheel arch which I did when I first brought it (how gutted was I?) it probably wouldn't cost much to touch up but as it's not that bad I never did, also the lcd display on the dash hasn't worked since I have had the car, this is the part which I believe tells you the mpg and temp outside (not sure as I have never seen a working one) this is actually a known and very common fault (google it), I have brought a cd from a guy on ebay that explains how to fix it but me being me and because I am selling the car I couldn't actually get the cluster out, it's probably very easy but I will leave that to the winning bidder and throw in the cd. The final small point is that I only have 1 key but I only brought it with 1 key and it's never been a problem for me but if your prone to loosing keys, or locking them in the car, it might be a big deal. Other than that she's a gem and I have all service history and receipts for work carried out.
