They make the most affordable people carrier on the market, you can now buy a Xsara Picasso brand new for less than £10,000 but for that you won't find the build quality great. Don't expect the quality of a VW Touran.

The Citroen Saxo hold the tital as the most modified car ever. Get your hands on one of these and you can't but lower the suspension and stick some 17" alloys on it. Its not unknown for people to spend over £50,000 on a Saxo Project. A basic cars insurance will be as little as group 3 but stick on some mods and expect to be frightened.

Citroen Xsara Picasso  - From Car Insurance Group 5

If you need space the Picasso has bucket loads. A price tag the missus would agree to infact the wife has probably ordered one, you just know yet. However the quality isn't great, interior panels seem very rattlely after 10,000 miles and the petrol engines are lifeless. If i had to buy one the 1.9 HDI would be my choice.
